Over the past hundred years, the home kitchen has undergone significant transformation as a space. The fundamental ideas behind today’s kitchen largely trace back to the early 20th century when the traditional spatial logic and functional principles were replaced by a kitchen designed on modern foundations.

The design of the exhibition “KITCHEN” is centered around a white, tablecloth-covered table positioned in the middle of the space, surrounded by sections of white kitchen cabinets that define the perimeter of the movement area. The volumetric surfaces created within the museum’s exhibition hall act as a unified canvas, with objects placed upon and within its cutouts, presenting a single large kitchen space for visitors to explore.
